VocalGuard is an AI-powered vishing (voice phishing) detection service that analyzes audio recordings to identify potential phone scams and fraudulent calls. The Service provides risk assessments based on linguistic analysis, emotional manipulation detection, and voice authenticity verification.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use VocalGuard, you must:

• Create an account with a valid email address
• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Usage Quotas and Plans

4.1 Free Plan

• New accounts receive 100 free audio analyses per month
• Quotas reset monthly
• Fair use policy applies to prevent abuse

4.2 Usage Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Exceed your allocated quota through fraudulent means
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
• Use the Service for any automated or bulk processing without authorization

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use VocalGuard to:

• Analyze audio recordings of suspected phone scams
• Protect yourself and others from vishing attacks
• Research and educate about phone fraud prevention

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Upload audio containing illegal content
• Violate any person's privacy rights or record calls without consent where required by law
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the AI models
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of any audio files you upload
• You grant us a temporary license to process your audio for analysis
• Audio files are deleted immediately after processing
• Analysis results are stored in your account for your use

6.2 Our Intellectual Property

• VocalGuard, including all AI models, algorithms, and software, is our proprietary property
• You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service
• All trademarks and branding are protected

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 Service Accuracy

IMPORTANT: VocalGuard is an AI-powered detection tool that provides risk assessments based on audio analysis. The Service:

• Is NOT 100% accurate and may produce false positives or false negatives
• Should be used as ONE tool in your security toolkit, not the only tool
• Cannot guarantee detection of all vishing attempts
• Requires human judgment and should not be solely relied upon

7.2 No Warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are NOT liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service
• We are NOT responsible for losses due to undetected vishing attacks
• We are NOT liable for decisions you make based on Service results
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if any)

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain Service availability but:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
• We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions

9. Privacy and Data Protection

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VocalGuard, The Newtonians team, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of third parties
• Your uploaded content

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation or as required by law.

15. Educational and Research Purpose

VocalGuard is developed as part of the Conrad Challenge educational program. While we strive for excellence, users should understand the Service is part of an educational initiative focused on innovation in cybersecurity.

17. Severability
